The largest diamond is 3.2 mm approx. The other five diamonds range in size from 3 mm down to 2.2 mm. They are conservatively estimated to total approximately. They are set in either white gold or platinum, to maximize their brilliance. They are graded as H/I color and VS2 to SI1 in clarity, by our experienced estate jeweler.
The seven old-cut rubies 2.5 mm, approximately. 10 ct each are a rich pigeon's blood red, quite true to the photos, and are prong-set on each side of the ring. Total gem weight in this ring is about 1.25 ctw. The face measures 1 top to bottom. The ring is hallmarked 14k.
The shank is a tiny bit out of round because it looks to have been sized, but that does not affect wear. It is a size 5.75, weighs a hefty 8 grams and is in excellent vintage condition! PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THE ITEMS I SELL ARE "VINTAGE" OR ESTATE ITEMS, AND THEREFORE ARE NOT NEW--SO PLEASE EXPECT NORMAL WEAR. I WILL DO MY BEST TO DESCRIBE ANY DEFECTS/FLAWS IN THE ITEM.PLEASE VIEW THE PHOTOS CAREFULLY AS THE SUPERSIZED PHOTOS ARE AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE LISTING. I CANNOT END AUCTIONS EARLY, AND PLEASE DO NOT MAKE AN OFFER. I sell on consignment for jewelers who set the prices on my items. My pricing is UP FRONT--(not inflated just so I can lower)--and I price as low as possible, with no "wiggle room"--in order to meet my consignor's net price. Please WAIT FOR THE INVOICE!
